Watches - another OCD problem
-
The leather one looks pretty cool with that AP type clasp.
I would be chuffed with that. -
Not me… Water and sweat fuck up a leather bracelet quickly...

Eli San!?…sounds cool to me ;D

Just get an aftermarket bracelet for it? It's probably way too difficult to find one with end links/pieces that sit flush with the case but ones with straight end pieces will fit.
And to be honest, that model won't look "right" with a steel bracelet IMO, except for a mesh one maybe?

I saw Giles's comment about his Breitlings keeping poor time. I've got an Avenger Sea Wolf (which has to be the most ridiculous name for a watch ever), and it's often run slow.
After it's been serviced twice, and sent back for repairs twice as well, it's finally keeping time.
Incidentally, I got shown a Chopard Tourbillon the other day. £52K of watch. Very nice.

Does these count?
One of them was bought in Seattle, WA by my great, great grandfather during the first of the large waves of norwegians leaving our shores for the promised land across the pond.
-
Wow, those are so neat!
Any more info?

Well, they are all quite old, the bottom one is the one bought in Seattle, it is marked Omega, not sure if it is related to the current brand at all.
The story of my family is quite interesting. My grandfather and his brothers all left for the new world to make something of themselves. One came back and started what became the family farm, the other became a DA in Seattle.. I guess that is where I got my law genes from.

^very beefy, very nice!!!

Just bought this watch last week, a JLC Master Moon. Very clean and different from anything else I own.
-
Michael- lovely strap; I always like the stuff I see from Toshi.
Anesthetist- beautiful watch. JLC really does great design work on the dress stuff, less so on the sportier offerings, like the Master Compressor. I feel like their heart isn't really in it, but the customers keep pushing for casual models, so they make a few. Kinda like Patek Philippe in that regard…
Then again, I could be completely off base in my analysis.;)

Pam 05 with custom leather strap.
Worn almost daily. Simple and clean look. One of my favorite watch that looks rugged and goes well with jeans (my daily go-to jeans; 666S)

Awesome!

thanks mate. Honestly, there might be many fakes around but these beauty are solid and nice. And they are bloody rugged.. this beauty have survived me digging/filling sand bags and etc.
To me, panerai are rugged watch that's meant to be worn hard; just like any IH clothes.

One of my daily beater..
Imo a versatile piece and like IH, made by an artisan with passion… Ichiban!!!
-
A Grand Seiko as a beater? Must be nice; my beaters are about 1/10th (maybe less) that price range…

Damn son… That's next level... This is Rolex money but damn does it look good...
