Thanks @spitfiredealer - I had the same guys put the same sole on my Moc toes and it took me a while to get used to the bulkiness. I asked them the carve the solve closer to the welt on these as they are "slimmer" boots and they did a very nice job. For 75 bucks, I think it's worth it. The Vibram soles are a lot softer and seem to stand up to concrete better than the stock RW Christy., although they are a lot thicker, so your boots feel taller ha.

Great upgrade! I too like Vibram soles a lot easier and comfier to walk on than on anything else.

Anyone looking to get the new Red Wing Irish Setter 9874?
I'm not usually a big RW guy (never owned a pair actually) but the Klondike leather looks nice on the moc toe.
Might go try a pair on and see if I fall for them or not.
