IH-666S-21L - 21oz LHT Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

It’s an open ended question, I realize.
It's impossible to answer for anyone but you when you try them, but if you're used to around a 34" starting waist and can tackle the thighs, then you should be fine with a size down. Denim will stretch…
Thanks for your reply. Oh, I stretch denim pretty well.

How did I not hear about this!? Jeez Louise

Did anybody get their pair of these yet? I am sincerely intrigued. Not my cut though. If these are even softer than regular 21 oz they would be insane.
@Giles any plan for these in a 1955 cut (so I could wear them as pajamas)?
-
OMG. I’m seriously contemplating starting a gofundme for my poor ass so I can buy a pair of these awesome releases before they disappear due to me being a broke teacher paying out my ass to survive in NYC. #frustrating

I received my pair on Friday and was a little worried about the fit at first because they were tight. They’re slowly giving up the tightness. As for the material, they’re lighter than the 19L which is dark. These jeans are a medium gray and have a sheen to them. It’s an illusion and just the weft coming through.

But how do they feel? Is the hand very soft? Do you have a pair of 21oz jeans to compare them to?

I don’t have another pair of 21oz jeans to compare them to from IH. However, I have a pair of 21 oz Samurai that is softer than these. The 21oz LHT are sanforized so they’re a little more slick and have a different feel than the 19L.

Nice fit!

@Filthy:
Nice fit! [emoji106]
Thanks for the kind words!
Box a bit tight, but I’m sure the 21oz will surrender to me in no time.Great bit of documentation. That it always useful and makes this an extra good first post. Thank you.
The fit looks really good. A little snug but as you say that is desirable on a first wear. They’ll look even better when the fabric relaxes.

Thanks! It’s just a small way that I would like to “payback” to this forum. I have learn a lot about denim from everyone here. The things that I had posted, is just the kind of stuff that a beginner like me would like to experience from here.

I get the softness thing, but fade-wise what's the big difference between this denim and the standard 21oz?
-
Haha arrrrrrgh

Yeah I was wondering if this has the same 21 oz anti-fading treatment or not.
