IHSH-358-IND - 5oz Dobby Cloth Work Shirt - Indigo
-
That picture above made me think... I think I want one, but XXL is sold out. @Alex I saw that size is still available in Japan. Would it be possible for you to get one from there?
-
@Boit That looks great with a tie!!!!!!! They are wearing the hell of of them. Thankfully we all live in different places
-
I like the look of this, but not the prospect of it fading too much. I’m curious of other people’s experience, after a few wash cycles, is it holding its colour?
-
Finally got one in my size, all the way from Japan through eBay.
Really awesome summer fabric! -
This bad boy got some frequent wear recently, such a cool shirt and so comfy!
-
@Crease I certainly agree, that is a really good summer shirt!
-
I have the western version and loved the material so much I picked up the work shirt version on sale here in the states. Did anyone go through with having it converted into a SS? Looking at you @motojobobo
Perfect warm weather fabric -
@SKT That is some nice and subtle evo!
-
@SKT It is, the dobby fabric was last year's equivalent of this year's sashiko - totally new and totally awesome.
-
@SKT I’m keeping an eye on the used 358 sales, if any, waiting for my chance at SS’ing one. Are considering it too?
Excellent to get your confirmation that it’d be a solid choice as a hot & humid weather fabric. -
@motojobobo hope you find one…the fabric is awesome and very breathable. I’m toying with the idea of converting it to SS. I may talk to my local tailor and get his thoughts first. I’ll report if I end up doing it.
-
@motojobobo I got mine here and they have some sizes left https://www.ironshopprovisions.com/products/5oz-dobby-cloth-western-shirt-indigo
-
@mclaincausey the western as a short sleeve would be so awesome
-
Yeah it would honestly make more sense to me but I love it either way and do appreciate the sun protection.
-
Thanks for the headsup @mclaincausey . Had never considered a western as a SS option but fellows here manage to sprout doubt in one’s long-held convictions on sartorial No-Nos.
I’ll report back…
