IHSH-380-IND - 12oz Dobby Cloth Work Shirt - Indigo
-
The texture of this one must be exquisite and the combo fade / reactive dyed Sashiko will certainly offer a wonderful fade with wear. I already have the IHSH-96-IND but I imagine this one to be heavier. I am very tempted
-
I have a super light weight sashiko by Masterson and love it but imagine this will be a much heartier and durable shirt. Looking forward to this one as a summer shacket
-
I love the look of this shirt, but already have the 208 indigo Kersey. On the basis that I haven’t got an unlimited budget, would I better allocating funds elsewhere or are the two shirts different enough to justify?
Any guidance appreciated.
-
@IrishHeart they are different enough to justify in my opinion, the kersey has a more vertical ribbed texture to the face where as the dobby has more of a "waffle" feel. I guess it depends if wardrobe requires two indigo shirts
-
This one's a good bit stiffer / sturdier, right? I think of the kersey as being sweatshirt-level softness, so due to that I don't imagine them as being too similar.
-
@AdamJ thanks for your reply. I definitely don’t think you can have too many but my wife would have a different opinion.
That said , if they are similar , she won’t notice that I’ve got two different shirts, and I’ll get away with it!
-
@popvulture good man, I’m taking notes here and adding your feedback to my justification list!
-
@IrishHeart haha, happy to enable!
-
With the talk about waffles, similar question to the above, how similar or not is this to the IHSH-96?
Looks to be about 2X the fabric weight and a tighter/denser fabric. -
You pretty much nailed it of how not similar this and the 96 are @pechelman
-
Love this shirt. Would this or something similar ever be released in short sleeve?
-
Woah!
Lucky you, looking forward to see it evolving. -
Looks amazing mate, and cant wait to see the fades
