Tough choice…
-
Not if you're from the UK, Stella is not even a choice…..ever. I would rather drink just about anything other than Stella.
-
Says a man who I'd bet hasn't had Orval before…

Says a man who I would bet has never had "Brewed in the UK, under license" Stella before
Basically, I can never recall trying Orvall, so either I haven't, or it didn't make an impression on me at all. UK brewed Stella is basically battery acid, over here it's nick name is "wife beater", as it is the chosen drink of the mono brain celled beings who inhabit our town and city centres. It (along with Carling and Fosters) is the beer choice of the hooligan, the uneducated, and criminally insane. It is piss.

Damn. Poor taste buds. Massively fruity and aromatic beer followed by the dry dribble scooped from sleeping monks facesknown as Orval…
-
Wow, G. Ghent looks awesome. I haven't been on this forum long, but your travel in the last quarter of 2012 has been really extraordinary. Congrats.
-
Aaaah Ghent…
-
Johan looks like a future customer G. (that is if he ain't wearing IH already!?)!…
-
And beer buying had to be done. I had a "firm" budget of Euro300, so was not surprised that we managed to get away with Euro550….Space in car being the limiting factor.
Seuls beer place is amazing and I can't wait to go back...
Needed a beer to recover…
The bill in that pic is the first of two bills we managed to win in the beer place. We filled the trolley up, so went and paid and then went back for more….

Giles, when you post stuff like that, I can't help but get all cliche and think "only in my dreams!"
-
Damn, G. That's a hell of a way to kick off the year. I can't even imagine how fun that spending spree was.
-
you are nuts in a very very good way, and hey, nice outfit…
-
Good news G, the Trons are visiting next weekend ;D
-
So, you're back late tomorrow right? :-[
