I wear Smartwool pretty much exclusively. They're expensive, but they last and feel awesome.
I've been wearing the Smartwool ones as well, excellent quality. I like Bridgedale socks as well, comfy and they wear well.

so far the best socks i`ve had always were falke socks.smooth and thick.most socks wear out real fast but so far my falke socks are still looking good….

Among the greatest socks I've ever seen. And alwayschanging design too -
Thanks for that Lando. Now I had to go see that they had some WM socks that I had to get with money I don't have

J, hahaha, yeah those were a little out of my price range. I would love to see some macro shots for texture reference whenever they come.

nice..and thanks for leaving one pair in oatmeal …lol, just purchased

Wool, always wool. Unless I'm going suit-up at work, then my proper shoes all demand thinner socks. But the norwegian army green wool socks are perfect for spring, summer and fall. The white, thicker ones, for winter.

You can still get wool dress socks lucifer.

Here ya go Lando:

They feel pretty great . . . nice and soft. They're a lot thinner than I expected, which is actually nice. They have a lot of stretch in them so I'm pretty sure they're good up to about a size 11-12. Even though they are a bit on the thin side they can be surprisingly warm. So overall, yes, they're incredible.

Tilley socks are where my feet wanna be.. Just right with the wool… They grip snug at your instep. And they are tough as nails..

Can anyone point me at those tabi(?) socks that have a separate toe (but big enough for a sasquatch foot?).
Ta much
