IH-821 - 16oz Super Black Fades to Grey Denim Double Knee Logger Pants

There´s some fabric left? Would love to have a shirt like that…

I think the SBG quality makes these even more marketable! @FormulaPfaff - maybe these are your perfect pair!

I would agree as I love SBG and loggers, but the double front section is too short for my taste. If it was longer I'd be all over it.

Don't get me wrong guys I love SBG, have quite a few pieces of it but for a work pair pants that get frequently washed and thoroughly trashed, super black would be my preferred choice. Love these pants that's why I have two pair.

I got a pair of these on the cheap off of eBay, and I really like them. This is my one complaint. I haven't used them for any real rough and tumble work, but I know if I did, my actual knee is barely protected. As a matter of fact, the edge of the fabric hits mid-knee if I'm kneeling. I always assume it's because I'm tall, but the problem could be fixed with like 4 more inches added to the outer layer.

@Haddtoo 555 - how much stretch were you able to get out of these? Thinking I need to snag them in the sale this weekend - and depending on stretch, I'm between sizes.
Cheers,

That's a dilemma being in between sizes. As you know I buy them small and stretch mechanically anywhere from 2 to 4 inches typically. As far as sizing I'd rather wear pants that are too big then too small. It takes a while to figure that out I can't imagine stretch being any thing different than what you've experienced with your previous selections. I know that's not much help but when I'm in doubt I buy two pairs in different sizes you could always let one pair go. These are awesome pants I didn't think I would appreciate them as much as I do. Post pics when you get them

Thanks for the info @Haddtoo 555 - I think I'll play it safe on these. Just so I know, have you seen much shrink with your washes?
-
They tighten up when they hit the suds but they bag out in no time.

awesome. Thanks dude!

How are these with "toughness" to wear daily & tight weave(breathing)? Thanks!

They are holding up really well, I beat this snot out of them and they are a breeze to wear just wish they were super black

Just ordered me some size 36s. Be the first IH jeans I don't plan on tapering, want a looser pair for winter/layering. Was torn between these and the 822, but this material is just so nice with fading.
Have to add, ordered yesterday and with IH new DHL venture, supposed to be delivered tomorrow! Wow that is fast!

Finally came in this morning. As usual the detail and quality of IH gear is top notch. Love the SBG fabric is beautiful. Never seen this in person or touched till now. Loving it is a tighter weave(great for the cooler/winter weather) and that it isn't too stiff out of the bag. Great fit, pocket size and space for my hand to get into the front pockets are perfect. My 634 overdyed are a little tight IMO, but small little niggle.
The only things I could say that are not perfect to me would be the belt loops, more of less the placement of the 2nd one in on either side. Normally put my keys hanging there and prefer them at my 4, not my 5 or 6, but that is a very small niggle. I do have to get used to having a large hem. They work great with boots but not my sneakers. Even the big puffier skateboarding ones. Once they break in they will settle perfectly. Wouldn't mind another 1/2" rise on both ends, but that is my body specific.
