RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2023 EDITION
I think the Hamburg party shirt and 720 combo will see a lot of action in the coming months!

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
Warmer weather means it’s time to reactivate the 110. Still grateful to @neph93 for inadvertently setting me on the right path.

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
Trying something different with the 362 as it’s somewhat chilly this morning.

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
Lots of CPO action on here today already. Happy to join with my 362

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
Telling myself it’s not bad weather, just a chance to test the 131!

@T4920 that worked out splendidly so keep dreaming!

RE: Learning moments in my denim journey
@Brandrea I can definitely relate (and I sometimes follow the n + 1 argument that’s often advanced here). Sometimes it’s a huge relief when the dimensions don’t work for me. I don’t mind having a good selection of items I will wear and enjoy, but I don’t want loads of stuff I never wear. I’m building a wardrobe not an IH museum

RE: Learning moments in my denim journey
@RobeOfTheMagi @Brandrea @T4920 I’m not saying I haven’t over purchased (I most certainly have) but I’ve learned that my initial reaction to a product announcement may change. There are definitely items that I can relegate to “really cool but not for me” and other stealth releases that lurk in the background until they suddenly become “must haves”. I don’t have a budget as such, but I try to ask myself questions like: does this fill a gap in my wardrobe? Do I know how I’ll wear this? What would this be competing with for wear time that I already have? This may mean I pass on some things, but others camp out in my head and haunt my dreams until I buy them

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
@SamD planning to keep my whites white at least for now (but who knows what might happen in the future or if a second pair comes my way).
Also wondering what could happen if you @Bailey and @Nik get together to form some kind of greater Gosport experimental overdyeing lab

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
@SamD I think the brown colour works particularly well with the texture on these. Any other experiments planned after this initial success?

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
Same 526J-SLBod 380 combo as a few days ago (plus a little bit of GAH) but trying a different approach so I don’t bore you. Feeling very fortunate to have these.

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
@T4920 some wear might be an initial adjustment to how you walk, especially if it’s at the heel. It might slow down once you and the boots get used to each other.
Wear will depend on how/when/where you use your boots, rotation, etc. so my experience might not be the same as yours. The Vibram mini lug soles on my RW 2943/2944 are holding up well after 5 years weekend/holiday use (basically whatever I’m not at work). If you’re not out in the wet all the time and rest your boots between wears good leather soles can last well (but quality can vary hugely and bad leather can get ripped up quickly) and Dainite seems to last ages for me.
Could be the perfect excuse to expand your boot collection for research purposes!

RE: Random conversations
@AdamJ it probably depends if you’re in summer mode or winter mode. Fair enough for summer but 18° in an N1 … 🥵

RE: Random conversations
@Tago-Mago maybe the answer is just to try everything when you’re in Gosport.
