IHG-070-BLK - Double Weave Blanket "Bell And Wings" - Black
Woven in Ichinomiya in the Aichi prefecture, a town with a long history of weaving traditional wool textiles. The double-weave construction of this blanket requires using two shuttles to run the yarn thread instead of the usual one, as a result of this the weave is heavier, thicker and super warm. The yarn uses a blend of polyester and rayon to increase the durability and softness of the blanket. Embellished with our Bell & Wings logo.
Wool - 63%
Polyester - 30%
Rayon 7%

I already told my wife were getting this one. She knows it's at least 50% for me.

That's way less money than I expected. Gonna have to try (not very hard) and convince the GF that we need a warm and cozy blanket.
-
this whole time I thought this thing was a carpet

I initially thought that too. I also wish it was bigger as someone else said. But I love that IH has entered this market. And I don't know how realistic this would be, but blankets out of IH most iconic flannel patterns would be hard to resist.
All in all can't wait to see the final product.

It looks very nice!
It would be nice to know how much it weighs. -
I'll let you know in a few days, once it gets here.
-
Looks like it weighs in at just under two and a half pounds, @motojobobo.

Perfect for a cold, snowy night.

@Chris thanks for weighing the blanket for me. I was hoping for something heavier for use in unheated cabins over winter. Sounds like it wouldn't be warm enough…

It is quite warm, though San Antonio is hardly the best test site. I've not used it in any rooms below about 68F.
