thanks for this.  one size smaller looks like it would work for me.  id feel a lot more comfortable if i could try two sizes on back to back. this jacket is so dang good.

FWIW, mine was getting pretty dirty, so I just gave it its first wash in 2 years. I used Nixwax Tech Wash and it came out clean as a whistle. The waterproofing had reduced a little over 2 years of hard wear, so I had planned to use Nikwax TX.Direct Spray On. However, I forgot to apply it while the jacket was still wet. So, I decided to just to the jacket out in the rain before soaking it again, and it seemed to be fine and fully waterproof, and I won't bother with a spray-on for now. Next time I wash it, I'll probably just apply the spray anyway because it can't hurt.

Thanks! We're pretty similar! I'm 5' 11 1/2" 155 myself. I'm always M on UHF and I'm S on this.

Great looking jacket and good fit for sure.

I would love to own this but every winter in the midwest seems shorter and shorter and I hear this beast is WARM.

When I first tried this on, I thought it would be too warm for anything or anywhere I did or went.  I then wore one for 2 weeks in mixed weather, what is outstanding about this jacket is that it regulates your temperature really well.  In cold it gives you warmth, in milder temperatures it just does not get too hot....No idea how it does that....
