I'm in Norfolk today, so took the chance to visit Old Town Clothing http://www.old-town.co.uk/ in Holt. Going in to the shop is like stepping back in time, love it. You pick your preferred cut, then fabric, try on a couple of samples, when happy, pay your money and they make it for you in 4 -6 weeks. I've ordered a pair of plains (modelled on some vintage prison pants apparently) in authentic Naval Colton drill. I was also very tempted by the Derby work boots, actually made in Derby, but can't justify it right now.

They arrived this morning; Tin House Plains in heavy Navy Twill.

The detailing is lovely.

I'm not so sure about the cut yet, its very vintage with a high rise, also the leg length is too long despite being measured for them in the shop.
