That's great.  I have a question:  do restocks have the same sizing as before?  I note that under the current sizes for the IH-555S-SBG, I am likely to fall between a tag 30/31.  Obviously I could ask for a 'bigger' 30 but am not sure that I will need to go down this path if the restock have slightly different sizing.

Also, how do I justify a spend to 'she who must be obeyed' on both a pair of SBGs and the upcoming slubby 555s?

There may be enough variation in the new batch to warrant a change in the table. If so it will be announced here.

As for the justification, it is up to each individual how low they will go, in terms of smoke and mirrors and use of the dark arts.

Not always, but we do always update the sizing charts and announce that here prior to the restock being made when the sizing does change. Once this batch arrives in the UK we will check then act accordingly

@Crispy Heron will 'one pair is black, one pair is blue' not suffice?  If you are really at risk of being in deep sh*t you could always stack a pair and have them delivered after an appropriate amount of time has elapsed. I can neither confirm nor deny online whether I have or am currently utilizing this strategy on the Prontos...

Did someone say on here that this denim might not stretch as much as the OG 21oz Indigo? The IH-555S-21 are my only reference and I take a 33 in those. Even though I've lost weight over the Covid years, I'd probably stick to that if I bought another pair of IH-555S-21s now (assuming same measurements obviously).

The SBG does seem to be a little more resiliant to stretch than the indigo version. Something to do with the different dying processes I’f imagine.

Yep, in a traditional white/natural weft denim, there is no dye in the weft, in the SBG, the weft has been reactive dyed, which adds an element of rigidity to the yarn....

Just received these, and unfortunately I think they’re too tight for me??

The waist is perfect but I don’t feel comfortable with how tight they are, especially in the thighs. Size up or should I look for another fit?

I think the problem with sizing up with the 555 is that if the waist and block are too loose you end up with a diaper/sagging seat. The thigh might loosen up a tad but I dont remember my pair stretching all that much.
