The Atoll Defender
The motor-pool mafia are going ape over Papa Nui's new Atoll Defender cap and every grease monkey on the rock knows it's a direct hit!
It's an A-3 reborn, a classic re-imagined, made better. A deeper crown, a solid 9oz herringbone twill construction that's proudly stamped with the marking of the Papa's sub-killer floatilla. Men chosen to fight across 1000 miles of exploding ocean in the most fantastic adventure above or below the sea.
The Atoll Defender is the cap of choice for life on the coral rock but is equally at home on the Salt Lakes or the Salty Seas. Available in size M (57-58) and L (59-60).

The Sub Hunter Cap

FINCA VIGIA  SAN FRANCISCO  de PAULA  CUBA
                                                                                                                               April 1943.

 Dear Papa,

I liked it. I loved it. The cap you designed for me is true and real and goddamn you took liberties with the past and future to produce such a fine and real cap. There is so much lousy talent out there making all sorts of rubbish with my name on it, but your Sub Hunter cap is a calculated masterpiece. Jesus it’s so marvellous that I’ve written it into my new novel.
Here is an extract:
'He swept the horizon with the big game glasses that he kept up on the flying bridge and saw no sign of the sub. Maybe they made it out through the channel and into the inside passage, he thought. It would be nice if someone else caught them. We can’t catch them now, not without a fight. They will not surrender to this dingy. The Gulf Stream sun beat down on him. He adjusted his cap and felt the cool shade on his brow. It was a good cap he thought, of a fine construction and quality. It was salt stained and bleached and its waxed visor thirsty and cracked. One thing was sure, that Papa Nui could really make a cap.'
Anyway I’m damn fond of you and I’d like to have a chance to talk sometime soon but for now I have to get back to the Pilar and my patrols,

Always your friend,
Ernest

The Canoe Club Cap.
From the hallowed halls of Annapolis to a flaming command in the South Pacific comes the man they'd follow to Hades, Papa Nui!
And with the Papa comes a new cap. Gallantly forged from the heartbreak, the guts, the glory and born from the proud traditions of the U.S Navy the Papa introduces the Canoe Club cap. A moniker derived from the Naval Training School at Maryland, the Canoe Club cap draws its authenticity from its unique use of Jungle Cloth, tightly woven repellent cotton, rugged on the exterior cashmere soft on the interior. Stamped under visor regulation USN. A perfect partner piece for your N-1 deck jacket and available in Olive Khaki and Naval Blue in sizes M and L.

The Brig Hat
A souvenir of the Brig. A hat that pays homage to shore leave gone wrong, stolen jeeps, off limit Luaus, Hula girls, Okolehau, broken Ukuleles, busted heads, busted rank.
9oz hickory cotton celebrating gyro-juiced victories. Sizes M and L.

Papa does not do S.....

Here are The Papa's sizing instructions....

Notes on washing.
At Papa Nui we do more tests than Bikini Atoll and whilst we don't measure Isotopes and Gama Rays we do lots to ensure you get the best from your cap.
To custom size we follow these methods;
To stretch , cold water soak then place over knee to vigorously pull and rotate until desired sizing is achieved, normally 1-1.5cm.
To shrink, observe the Papa's pot cap soup method. Boil cap for 10 minutes, towel dry and check size, if extra shrinkage is desired place in hot clothes dryer. Maximum shrinkage is usually 1- 1.5cm. These two tips will allow you to achieve extra sizing options outside of the medium and large size offering.

I Need a smaller size G.! Is it possible to get from you?

My advice would be the canoe club in medium and then a hot wash. Different caps different fabric it's a matter of finding one that is almost right and working with it to achieve the desire result. The canoe club cap sizing is neat so it should respond well.

Papa.
