RE: Coronavirus (Covid-19) Discussion
My 75 year old mother got her first jab early today ( in th UK )
Only a sore arm with no other side effects, it was the Pfizer/BioNTech one.
I hope we all get one in the near future, take care and stay safe.

RE: Bread - What are you baking today…..
We make Potato Bread. Sounds odd but its very nice in my opinion.
Good with home made roasted carrot or pasta + tomato soup. -

@nemesisnow1200 Thanks for the kind words Sir, enjoy the jeans. They were an epic pair

RE: Watches - another OCD problem
I don't see any value added to having the movement assembled by hand, by a single watchmaker. It smells of marketing BS to justify low volume and high prices.
It is bull. You can regulate a £28 Russian hand wound watch to be 2 seconds a day out, not service it for ten years and it still bloody runs fine lol. The Swiss are professional con artists

RE: Movies
I loved Moon. When it came out the there wasn’t much else like it.
It was a total surprise because I was looking for a movie that my nephews had not seen.
They had seen absolutely everything I suggested so I looked for older sci-fi movies that may have passed them by.
None of us had any idea what it was about and found the movie boring in the beginning.
But oh boy did we get a surprise and the movie really came alive and became very interesting.

RE: Movies
Watched movie from 2009 called Moon.
Give it a 7/10. Low budget showed but thought it was interesting idea and liked the actors performance.
Watched Judy.
Give it 8/10. Could have been better but decent watch.
Watched a beautiful day in the neighbourhood.
9/10. Give it a 9 because Tom Hanks is very good here and im a fan. Otherwise 5 or 6 out of 10.
Watched Chips.
8/10. Good comedy 100% worth watching I think.
Watched Knives Out.
7/10. Daniel Craig with hilarious US accent. Ok movie

RE: How to lose weight fast (ish) safely ?
It is a hard balance to get right and will likely be a continuous battle from now on.
The tendency is to slip back into old habits when stressed or tired unfortunately.
I would imagine I could balloon back to original weigh faster than I lost it.

RE: How to lose weight fast (ish) safely ?
That is quite a transformation. Are you doing any form of training as well as watching the calories?
I have stopped losing weight now because I noticed I was getting gradually weaker and weaker.
My new plan is to try and stay roughly the same weight but build some strength back so I have started eating a little more and doing some weights / push ups etc.But when I was losing weight I was cycling on a machine 5 or 6 days a week until my knee started to make a clicking noise all the time after about 8 weeks. So I switched to walking for about 1.5 hours a day instead.

RE: How to lose weight fast (ish) safely ?
Update : Lost near 18 lbs now and no longer classed as overweight ;D ;D ;D
Yessss! How many of your old jeans can you fit into now? Be careful you don't lose too much and have to buy a bunch of size 30s

RE: Runners
Don't push too extremes guys trying to get times. Two young men in their 20
s and 30
s basically had heart attacks shorty after finishing the Cardiff half marathon the other day and both died. -
RE: Hoodies reccomendations
Thanks guys, I will look into these. Seems to be some recurring mentions to mull over, cheers

Hoodies reccomendations
Website wont allow me to start new topic in the correct section that this thread should actually be in. ( cut and sown I believe )
So I just have to start it here instead and it can get moved or deleted I guess.
I'm looking for high quality durable hoodie similar to the flint and tinder 10 year pull over, but that is available to buy in the EU.
The flint and tinder seems to only be available in the USA and seems out of stock there even.
I know IH or some other Japan brands probably make plenty but I'm looking for under $150 really.
Any ideas very welcome cheers

RE: Samurai Jeans
A tag 35 710xx will have 13+ thighs. I measure my used and soaked/washed tag 34 as 13 inch thigh the way I measure from watching IH way to measure.
