I would do truly unspeakable things for a forest green (duck?) five-pocket jean. even drab olive. selvege or not. something like the 17oz canvas brown duck, but green.

It's like finding Waldo, but I spy one of them lovely crossbodies!
I say embrace the shorter length, @DeeDee85, but I say that as someone who'll only wear short cut Type IIIs, and it really depends on how you wanna wear it.
Given where I live (SoCal), I hardly, if ever, layer, and typically just wear whatever top over a simple tee. If you're planning on wearing this as a layering piece, you'd probably want to size up.
The one thing about a shorter cut jacket is that it allows details like a belt to really pop and become a nice outfit focal point.
Anyway, that's my $0.02
It's the single-most unique IH fabric I've come across. Nothing else really compares, and even though it shares some of the same treatment of the standard OD, it's totally distinct.
Indigo hues, smokey grays, little pops of burgundy, and black as night. Just badass.
I'd kill for a re-run in the 634, but alas...

dope. i love their pink jawnz. looking forward to this one!
Not @goosehd @Tobi, but they’re Wesco’s 8106 Work Boot. They were part of Wesco’s 100 year Anniversary collection, and you’re 100% correct, they’re pure fecking art!
Unfortunately, they’re NLA, but some pop up from time-to-time on various sites (e.g., eBay, Grailed, etc.).
I was lucky enough to find a second-hand pair for in newish condition in my size on eBay.
Such gorgeous boots, @goosehd! Just picture perfect. The treatment's really revivified the British Tan Domain, but the untreated one looks every bit as good. I love the patina of a dirty boot.
These were/are a grail item for me. I was super fortunate to snag a second-hand pair last year and my life is now greatly improved.
Stoked, @Memphisakers! They look a helluva a lot better on you than they did me! Looks like you got a fair amount of stretch on that waist, too! Glad everything worked out, my dude.
I agree with @goosehd in that the fit looks pretty spot on. It essentially fits the way I'd want it to.
I also have this shirt and get the same billowing at the shoulder, right below the collar. In reading through this thread, I seem to recall other folks having the same billowing effect, so seems to be an "architectural" issue, rather than something unique to your specific shirt/jacket.
I expect it to settle with wear and time, but being that it's horse, stretch, to the extent there's any, will be negligible.
OG stugg. the flasher's worth the price of admission alone!

it's starting to smell like fried chicken. Maybe time for another soapy soak soon.
I loves me the smell of some fried up chickies. wear on brother!

It’s certainly possible, but I’d say unlikely, @DeeDee85, as these have consistently measured shorter in length.
But, as they say, hope springs eternal!
them boots is killer, @goosehd! Got me feelin' like I should break mine out
