It is, a 40 (L). It is wider than I need for a vest, but I sized up to get that extra bit of length. I don't tuck in shirts, so the length matters most to me. The 526sv is perfect to wear over hoodies

A few of my favorite vest ensembles I've put together over the past year or so, since my wardrobe still hasn't made it in from Japan:
And, a fun one for the finish!

Like your first one best! Excellent combo!

I'm torn between sizing down to wear over a tee/henley or going for something more versatile… Certainly looks great over a hoodie.

Thanks Neph. In tribute, I decided to break out the superblack vest today….

This is my first vest of the modern era (I used to wear them way back when along with Yorkshire made clogs, and a mohawk, but that's another story). Handmade by Jens Olav Dankertsen, founder of Livid Jeans, in his old workshop in Trondheim, Norway. This was back when Livid was just starting out a few years ago.
It's made of 13oz Kurabo sulphur dyed selvedge denim with a Nihon Menpu hickory lining, brass donuts buttons and is completely unbranded. Washed once, seen quite a bit of wear. It's a little rough around the edges (the button holes are a mess and some of the sewing is a little tatty) but I love it. Jens Olav was just starting out and was self taught. I have a duck vest made by him a couple of years later that is a similar design but with a much cleaner finish. That this is a little ragged is all part of it's charm. The brass donut buttons are my favourite thing about it. Sadly my skills with a camera are poor so I haven't really been able to take macro shots that do them justice…

Great thread! Here's a couple of mine, and I need to add a pic with the Hunters vest at some point as well

I roam solo sadly @neph93 . But I find it fun to hunt for places with good views where I can rest my phone upright for 10 seconds and snap a pic. Or sometimes I just take the easy road and rest it against my Thermos.
Great thread indeed!

Do so, please. I'm still trying to find a way of wearing mine that I'm satisfied with.
I'd love to see more fit pics of the IHV-02 as well. It looks like it was made for you. I re-purchased the vest in an XL recently and while I love the vest I'm a still little unsure about the fit. The length on the L bothered me as I felt it was too short. The XL is maybe too long and a little loose now I've dropped 10kg. If I ever spend time in Gosport I'm going to go through their entire stock finding the perfect fit I think…

OMG you guys are killing me! So much vest awesomeness here!

You've got some great vests yourself, man. Get amongst it!
Also @den1mhead I was just looking at your initial pics. If you have any fit pics with the Pike Brothers vest I'd love to see them. That looks really nice…

Brilliant @den1mhead . Thanks very much. Pic two done up, tucked in is a doozy. Lovely vest.

@neph93 the images are from RAWscore - the hit or miss fit and combo space.
