18V and 19L in the morning sun.
I decided to go out on a limb (for me) and try a white shirt. Contrary to the photos I've seen, including mine here, it's not a pure, blinding white. It's got a warm, creamy tint. I have no hope of keeping this pristine and clean. I intend to let it show some wear, but will probably wash it more than I would an indigo dyed shirt. Should be interesting.
I'm not worthy of this thread, but I'm leaving this here anyway!
Moving right along. I love how the back of the forearms are showing the texture of this denim.
I've been focusing on my 18oz vintage 101, but this has been my other jacket. Slowly moving along...

Enjoy @Sicktight_311 and my thanks to @Kirk and @Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot for recent silky smooth dealings. Truly champ and mint!
As a native Pennsyvanian, I've grown to mostly view Groundhog Day as the world's yearly reminder that we're a bunch of hicks. But hey, it's also just a bit of silly fun!
I won't comment on the styling, but isn't the name "Speed Loafer" a bit of an oxymoron...
It's tough to choose, but if I had to, I think I would go 18. It would be more wearable for me in a 4 season environment, but I sure would miss XHS!!
XHS is, of course, legendary, but 18 ounce vintage always seems so overlooked to me. It's got a little bit of everything to offer and it's wearable enough to be an all around, go to denim.
That's going to be so nice! I've been eyeing that jacket style for awhile. They don't seem to come up used very often, so it's been a battle of patience for me. Please share some photos when it arrives!

Sometimes a very small amount of gorilla glue or similar applied carefully can help with failing reinforcement tape. You can't make it too though thick or it won't fit in the zipper.
