@thevintagefuture I'm based in the UK and would feel bad about the jeans making two trips across the Atlantic. Plus I'll then be hit with import taxes at the border.

Some of my fun money is currently having to be diverted elsewhere so when these 1955s dropped I decided I had to prioritise the 727s (which restock even less frequently, I think I've been on the "notify me" since at least 2022) which are expected to restock this season.

But thanks for looking out for me!

Time to make the 1955 a core cut? IIRC, they sold just as quick when there was a restock last year too.

@RobeOfTheMagi the 727 Chinos (in a 888 style cut). I’ve been waiting on a restock of them since around 2022, and apparently they’re dropping 4 colourways this season, so that’s a chunk of change.

Only one left in stock in my size but, as much as it pains me, I think I'm going to have to let it go on this occasion. I'm saving up for something else that's getting a restock soon and comes around a lot less frequently even than these hallowed 1955s.

I've got enough jeans needing wear and evo put into them in the meantime.

You've got to remember that IH is a bikers' brand. The pockets are deliberately placed out wide so that a rider can sit on their bike without whatever is in their pockets digging into their arse while still having access to the pockets.

@FlavourFade I was lucky enough to have my bout of Covid just as Elden Ring launched, and I smashed through most of it in three days semi-deleriously on the couch. I got the platinum trophy a little while later.

I wasn't that enamoured by Elden Ring by the end. It re-used too many bosses - I think there were only 3 or 4 that were actually unique by the end of it - and I couldn't get into a second playthrough because I'd already done all the exploring with my first character and I thought it lost a lot of its magic when all you're doing is making a bee-line for the things you need for your build.

I finished Dave the Diver last week, and genuinely think I had more fun with that than Elden Ring, all said and done. It never failed to delight me with its silly story, charming art and cutscenes, and satisfying catch fish > cook fish > make money to get better at catching fish gameplay loop.

@alexxedge I bet you can't! I'd like to get going on a back piece myself, but not sure what yet, and still got a sleeve to work on. Looking forward to seeing your next update.
